Deer Resistant Plants

Gardening in Bucks County can be a challenge with all the deer in our area.

White tailed Deer have become a nuisance to the citizens of Bucks County. At one point in Pennsylvania’s history, we experienced the most vehicle deer collisions of any other state in the nation. Not only do deer cause many accidents but they also tear our gardens apart, spread invasive plants, and increase tick populations. With numbers of deer increasing ever higher you might be asking yourself… “Is there anything I can do to decrease the number of deer in my own backyard?” The answer is “Yes”. Take a look at the following list of plants. These plants are said to be the least likely to be browsed by deer. Also Anthony’s provides a wide range of repellents including Liquid Fence, Coyote Urine, and Ropel. We also provide netting as well. Remember when deer are desperate enough they’ll eat anything.
